The biggest challenge was not the technology – it was the workforce itself. LifeView Group has around 2,800 team members, roughly 1,600 of whom work at a computer every day: in Northwest Florida, from home and at sites across the United States. Information reached this workforce only by roundabout routes.
Adding yet another system was therefore out of the question. LifeView Group runs a Microsoft-centric environment and already uses Microsoft Teams for collaboration and Enterprise Voice. The new intranet had to extend that investment rather than compete with it – and appear, with no learning curve, exactly where employees already spend their working day.
Digital Touch guided both the platform selection and the rollout. Today the business units maintain their own content, and employees find news, documents and business applications in one place directly in Teams.
“ From the very first conversation it was clear: we had found more than a software vendor –we had found a partner we could trust. Digital Touch never worked on a one-size-fits-all basis. Instead they showed us well-considered good, better, best options, explained the consequences of each variant clearly and thereby guided us to well founded decisions"

With around 2,800 employees, including approximately 1,600 employees working in digital environments everyday, LifeView Group faced the challenge of enabling effective communication and collaboration across multiple locations and remote work environments.
This resulted in several key challenges:
What was required, therefore, was a modern communication platform that drives adoption, is easy to use and integrates seamlessly into the digital workplace.
In its search for a suitable solution, LifeView Group chose Digital Touch as its consulting and implementation partner. At the outset, the organizational requirements and the existing Microsoft 365 environment were analyzed. Building on this, Digital Touch developed a concept for a modern SharePoint intranet, integrated optimally into Microsoft Teams.
The measures implemented included:
Throughout the entire project, Digital Touch provided advisory support and helped LifeView Group make both technical and organizational decisions on the basis of proven practices.
With the new intranet, LifeView Group now has a modern, central communication and information platform for around 2,800 employees.
The seamless integration into Microsoft Teams, easy access to news, documents, events and corporate applications, and content maintained independently by the business units all deliver greater efficiency and higher user adoption.
Together with Digital Touch, a future-proof Microsoft 365 solution was implemented that simplifies communication, information and collaboration across all locations and lends lasting support to the digital workplace at LifeView Group.
